Like the wind

blouseHow are you? Enjoying the sun? I absolutely do! It’s so great to feel the warm sunshine on your face and skin again after such a long and dark winter… Fitting to my happy mood I even bought me some silky and airy ladies blouses. Now I nearly feel like lady spring myself. ;-)

I just love it to sit outside in some pavement café, drinking a latte, equipped with sunglasses and a good book. Of course you always have to bring an in-between jacket, anyway; just in case April want’s to prove it’s power and let’s the temperatures change in the blink of an eye. But if you’re properly prepared, this won’t shock you, right? Because there is no bad weather – just bad clothing. Or in this case: bad preparation.

Summer’s secret

I’m really eager to know what type of summer is awaiting us this year… Due to the global warming I fear we have to reckon with everything. It can establish the next heat-record with desert-like temperatures; but at the same time we can have the next Noachian deluge. Or them both by turns…

You see I’m quite disillusioned about what happens to our planet… But of course: hope dies last. So I still keep my faith that there will be a chance to wear my nice shorts, my sunglasses and all my other pretty summer-clothes. But that’s just my egoistic fashion-desire… In general I hope that humanity will realise what we do to our planet and reconsider a few things, like our food pattern for example…

Back in time

Oh my god, I just have to buy new woman sunglasses! Just recently I got myself super-modern, great looking Ray-Bans. But then I saw those fancy retro-sunglasses in some shop-window; and I fell in love immediately!

The funny thing is: normally I’m not that much into retro-stuff (maybe because my flat is also very retro – but sadly involuntarily… Of course this will all change when I find a new one; but until then the device is: hang in there).

Well, where was I? Yes: This retro-glasses are just great. They remind me of the swingin’ sixties – at least how I imagine this period. So, it’s already decided: I’m gonna buy those shades. Now I just hope that we will have a sunny summer, which allows to wear them…

You’re such a fake!

How do you hold it when it comes to handbags? Are you one of those who only buy originals? Or do you use your vacations to buy some fake bags?

I think a big problem (next to the fact that it’s a crime) with those fake bags is, that they devalue the originals. For example: so many girls have those typical (fake) Louis Vuitton bags that when you see another one, you automatically think: „Oh, another one of those cheap bags.“ Even if it is a original designer bag.

And since the copies are so good nowadays, you barely can’t see a differnce. But even if it seems a good, money-saving possibility buying a fake bag – in the end it’s not. As I said, in the end it’s not more than a crime. And that also applies to sunglasses and other kind of accessories, of course.

Today, I didn’t show my most intelligent side to my friends… I was invited to a cup of tea at my friend’s place this afternoon for a little chitchatting and catching up. Why, this sounds nice, doesn’t it? Yet I thought to cook something beforehand, to not sit there attacking the cake as soon as on the table. I decided on some rice and spicy vegetables. At first I thought about putting on some sunglasses to not mess up my makeup with teary-onion-eyes. I decided not to though (too ridiculous) but just after cutting the chillies I duh-duh-duh-duhh rubbed my eyes. So then, the women’s sunglasses came in handy again on my way to my friend’s place (and at the coffee table…)

I saw the first sunglasses in the stores today! I wonder why they are even abandoned during winter season as spring obviously already started in retail. All’s about bright colours, fresh prints and yes, here we are: sunglasses.

Actually, I do need my sunglasses during winter more than one would think and I suppose other need them as well, yet can’t buy new sunglasses since they are banned from the stores. What a great niche market! Just think of people who like to run in the obstinacy of the winter sun! Or people who’d like to go on vacation! Well, they could buy sunglasses at the place they are staying then, but still…!

Anyway, summer seems close when looking at the window displays : )
