women's coatSometimes I think women have it better than men. At least when it comes to fashion… Of course I am aware that in our world there’s still lots of inequality and injustice between men and women – but I don’t want to start a political debate here, but just talk about fashion. :-) And as I said: there I sometimes feel we girls have it better.

Last time when I thought about this was when I was looking for womens trench coats; because I could choose between lots of beautiful colours – and then I saw the trench coats for men: just one, lonely, sad colour; this typical trench coat beige. Poor guys… And that was when I thought: „Oh, at least when it comes to coats it seems that women are privileged.“

Convenient trend

Has the look of destroyed jeans finally returned? I’m just asking because last time when I was shopping I saw lots of those jeans. And it really would be great if this trend came back now; because all of my jeans already have this look! Well, maybe not necessarily on purpose – let’s just say time was the creator of this look, when it comes to my jeans…

But I see no problem there: Why spend so much money for a pair of slim fit jeans, if the jeans I already own perfectly fit to this trendy look? That’s why I would love to see this style coming back – so I don’t need to buy new trousers, but can wear the ones I already have a little longer. And be super trendy at the same time! I could really kill two birds with one stone, don’t you think?

Choose wise!

At the moment I am having difficulties finding the right shoes. I got some very nice summer shoes (from Fred Perry, just to give one example) and I got my super-warm and comfy winter boots. But I feel like I’m missing shoes for the time between winter and summer (some used to call it spring…).

I do own warmer shoes for this transition period indeed – but unfortunatley it proved that they have a very bad quality; and although they are not very old, they already look totally ripped up… Well, at least they weren’t too expensive. But it’s annoying nevertheless. Because now when I go out I always have to decide: looking sexy and be cold – or not freezing, but in change looking a little clumsy…

silk scarfOh my god, how embarrassing: this site is called „Romantic Fashion“ . and I totally forgot to write about Valentine’s Day! I neither wrote my opinions and feelings on this day, nor did I ask you what you expect from your boyfriends or girlfriends.

Well, at least now that the date has already passed I can tell you what I got: my darling knows that I’m absolutely into silk scarves for women – and that I can never get enough from nice scarves. So he got me another one. That may sound a little uncreative – but why forcing yourself to find something never seen, knowing that the expected kind of present will make me happy.

And by the way: there are still 364 days left to suprise me with creative gifts… ;-)

Lean time

purseTo be honest at the moment I have to operate a little economically – when it comes to money I’m in a lean time. And it’s even just the beginning of the new year, haha.

But don’t worry: I’m sure there will come better times soon. You all know how it is: sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But the only thing that matters is just never to give up! So as I said: I will operate a little economically the next weeks and then everything will just be alright.

Of course I also won’t buy one of those nice wallet purses I saw recently in the town centre. First because I don’t have the money to purchase it – and then because I would have nothing to fill it with. So I’ll postpone this plan for later in the year.

Crazy days

It’s carnival time and most of my friends are throwing partys – or at least going to the official events everywhere in the city. I really like this time of the year. Unfortunately the last years I couldn’t go because of my work. I had to work a lot, so there really was no time to party hard. Well, at least one day I came to work in a costume. That was quite a funny day at the office…

Well, this year I am free to go to any party I want! But now I don’t have costumes… I had to throw away lots of things last year – and so this year I have nothing to dress up. Although I don’t like going to carnival events without a costume I won’t have another choice. But it’s better to be there without a costume than not to be there at all, right?

Partyqueen

At the moment there are lots of partys in my neighbourhood. The good thing is: I am invited, so I can have a good time with nice people. The “bad” thing is: I’m really hung over! I think those last few weeks have destroyed my healthy lifestyle quite a lot…

But of course: you only live once. So why not enjoying the one life we have? But that’s not what I wanted to tell you in the first place. Actually I wanted to write about my outfits. Because those parties differ a lot: one kind is totally casually, whilst the other is a little bit more high class. So I bought a wonderful womens suit which looks absolutely fabulous! Combined with the right accessories I really feel like Victoria Grayson from that tv-series “Revenge”… ;-)

Don’t forget

A few weeks ago I told you that this will be a „girly year“. Means that I’m planning to buy more silky dresses and nice things like that. Well, at this moment of the year I still haven’t had time to buy more girlswear… Well, of course it’s just february – so there is absolutely no reason to agitate. But I’m sure you know the feeling when you have plans and then it looks like you just won’t have times to pursue them. Well, as I said: the year has just started and there is still looooots of time left. I just don’t want my New Year’s pledges to drown in the daily stress…

So at the moment it looks like in two weeks I will have a little spare time – and then my motto will be: shop till you drop! :-)

Summer’s secret

I’m really eager to know what type of summer is awaiting us this year… Due to the global warming I fear we have to reckon with everything. It can establish the next heat-record with desert-like temperatures; but at the same time we can have the next Noachian deluge. Or them both by turns…

You see I’m quite disillusioned about what happens to our planet… But of course: hope dies last. So I still keep my faith that there will be a chance to wear my nice shorts, my sunglasses and all my other pretty summer-clothes. But that’s just my egoistic fashion-desire… In general I hope that humanity will realise what we do to our planet and reconsider a few things, like our food pattern for example…

Back in time

Oh my god, I just have to buy new woman sunglasses! Just recently I got myself super-modern, great looking Ray-Bans. But then I saw those fancy retro-sunglasses in some shop-window; and I fell in love immediately!

The funny thing is: normally I’m not that much into retro-stuff (maybe because my flat is also very retro – but sadly involuntarily… Of course this will all change when I find a new one; but until then the device is: hang in there).

Well, where was I? Yes: This retro-glasses are just great. They remind me of the swingin’ sixties – at least how I imagine this period. So, it’s already decided: I’m gonna buy those shades. Now I just hope that we will have a sunny summer, which allows to wear them…
